Love this idea. You need two jars, actually. One for your consignment, resale or thrift shop, and one for home.

Too Good to be Threw is the Premier Site for Professional Resalers

Start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it to remember the awesome stuff in your life. Good way to keep things in perspective both at home and in your consignment or resale shop.
