You know how you can be looking at one thing, and create something new from it?
This Pinterest picture is apparently an old drawer into a shelf. But what I love about it is the shadowbox/ display area effect. Make it deep enough to display goods, add a quiet patterned scrapbook paper/ wall paper or the like behind it; staple on a sparse garland to reflect the season or your shop motif, and voila! A quick and effective display for anything from women’s accessories to tea cups!
Tip: Hang the shadowbox like a picture rather than fastening it to your wall; attach the background paper/ fabric to the back of the frame with tape or staples… that way, you can easily change the paper as you wish.
