Out & About Shopping Consignment

May 31, 2013 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Love how this shop in Bradenton FL solved an annoyance. This wooden pedestal is for signing credit card receipts without the customer having to bend way down to the low service counter!

Smart, huh? What do you think this stand was originally made for… or did some handy person make it just for them?

Consignment shops are experts at finding solutions!
Thanks, What a Find!

I think it looks like a shoe stand.

Julie, you’re right! I KNEW it looked familiar… it’s a display stand for shoes… the little ledge is to hold the heel so the shoe doesn’t slide off! Here’s another version: http://pinterest.com/pin/223772675207814901/

looks like something from an old court house. Where you had to sign forms, only it probably went the other direction. so the paperwork would rest on the ledge.
