Your consignment / resale shop is the go-to local resource!

December 12, 2013 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Thanks Tara, for this great idea: Getting your social media followers to search for those coupons they MEANT to use all year long!Consignment shop expired coupons idea!WHY is this a great idea?

  • It reminds your fans/friends that you are the go-to local source for friendliness and neighborliness in shopping
  • Because they remember that you have been generous to them, your loyal followers, throughout the year
  • It gives them a unique and non-copyable reason to visit your shop before the holidays

Is this something you could plan ahead to do? Would you? Why or why not? Tell us in the comments!

I like this idea. I finally started putting expiration dates on my loyalty cards when they filled in the last box. This idea would allow me to have a post about my generosity….because I KNOW I would allow them to redeem after the expiration! So might as well get some kudos for something I would do normally 🙂

Exactly, Kindra. So often, we forget to get full value out of “something we would do normally” and miss the oportunity to build customer loyalty and our “shop local” atmosphere!

Wow…I love it! I think that is an excellent January promotion! I’m going to do it!
