Merchandising your goods in your consignment, resale or thrift shop is a constant activity… and sometimes, a challenge!
I’ve found a series of short videos that could give you some valuable tips here. They were produced by a new-merchandise wholesaler, so not every word will be applicable to our wonderful, wacky, unique and one-of-a-kind shops. But there’s some great concepts that your business could benefit from. Enjoy!
Kate, thanks so much for this. Just what I needed! You are AMAZING!

Great, Heidi. The clips are a nice video addition to my Pinterest boards http://www.pinterest.com/2good2bthrew/consignment-resale-shop-decor/ and http://www.pinterest.com/2good2bthrew/windows-4-consignment-thrift-resale-and-other-shop/, aren’t they? Shopkeepers know how important visual appeal is, especially to those who love to explore our one-of-a-kind merchandise. Guess that’s why Window Displays Especially for Resale Shops is my #2 best-seller!

Just ordered it! Thanks for the suggestion to buy it.
I love doing our windows and we always get compliments on them, but I’d like to see what is shown to sell, as I haven’t figured out any kind of pattern.

Heidi, the best pattern is: “Darn it I have to redo that display ’cause she bought it” said approx. twice a day! 🙂
