Got boobs?

June 9, 2014 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

If you deal in womenswear consignment, resale, or thrift, you need boobs.

These boobs, I mean.

Bust forms make slinky clothes look... slinky not saggy, says Auntie Kate of TGtbT.com

These lightweight molded forms enhance everything from wedding gowns to prom dresses to summer frocks.

Bust forms make even humble garments look better. Imagine how nice this would have been with them:

Bust forms are a must for any consignment, resale or thrift womenswear shop, says TGtbT.com

Some Resources:

  • InStore Design Display, has sturdy forms.
  • Store Supply has economy versions, if your usage will be light.

The appearance of displays are so much better for sales. My customers love outfits put together on them . Better than wrinkled on a hanger .

Yes, we use these. In fact, we use “plus size” forms (which are about a size 10 at most). They are more affordable than we thought they’d be — I think I paid $17 each. I’m sure they can be sourced for much less in the US. Worth every penny for how they show off the clothes.
