Make your own “quote photo”

June 16, 2014 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Making a graphic that you can use on your site, your blog, or your social media is WAY simpler than many consignment, resale or thrift shopkeepers imagine.

Here’s some quick examples:

Most of mine, I do on picmonkey (which has more text-editing choices) or ribbet (which has the ability to store your base photos for easy reuse and combining)

I ran across this excellent roundup of sites to use (if you are hesitant to start from scratch with picmonkey or ribbet) on Pinterest.

And then I found this: the perfect way to get your Facebook fans engaging with you! Choose a simple  phrase (“I stop in at MyShop whenever I can because ________”?) … and don’t forget to add your logo!

A graphic designed especially for engaging their Facebook followers. TGtbT.com thinks this is an idea worth adapting to YOUR consignment or resale shop!

I use one or two of the editors mentioned in the link for my blog, but it’s great to have others (better ones!). When I worked as an admin assistant, the people in my office(s) looked to me to put up signs whenever one was needed. Data manipulation is one of the things I love to do – and that includes playing with pictures. ^_^ Thanks for the post!
