Using her (pink-bathing-capped) head.

August 26, 2014 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

You can have a promo for a few hours or a day… or you can hold it and reap the benefits and goodwill for long after.

Ice bucket challenge goes BIG on AuntieKate.wordpress.comAnd Marianne Evans, owner of Your Best Friend’s Closet, a HowToConsign.com Sponsor Shop, used her pink-bathing-capped head for her latest shop happening.

Not only did the shop do promotion before the event: the trending Ice Bucket Challenge, but they went BIG, as in the Fire Department coming to fill a dunk tank in their parking lot…

But they also, since they were collecting funds for the ALS Challenge, set up a GoFundMe link for their Facebook followers who missed the chance to dunk Marianne, her staff, and business associates she challenged with a well-tossed ball.

Resale's BEST Promotions from TGtbT.comNow that’s a perfect example of expanding the impact your events have on your business…and a perfect example, too, of what you can learn from Resale’s BEST Promotions, a Too Good to be Threw Product for the Professional Resaler. Get your copy PDQ from TGtbT.com

The shop raised almost $1000 for ALS in the IceBucketChallenge… and raised their community visibility a thousand-fold as well! Follow Your Best Friend’s Closet on Facebook.
