Communicating visually. And fast.

February 23, 2015 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Which is more easily grasped online?

We are currently accepting

spring consignments which include jeans, tee shirts, light weight long sleeves, capris, hoodies, light jackets, etc. Beginning in April we will start accepting shorts, swimsuits, tank tops and sundresses.

I’m guessing that you just scanned the words. But you looked at the pictures. Probably not in great detail, but you got the message, right?

Graphics, especially bright-colored ones with few words and lots of white space, work a whole lot better than even the shortest paragraph.

Remember that, next time you want to get a message across.

Great ideas for the Spring and Summer ad. The only problem how do you get clients to understand that dress pants and jeans are something that doesn’t sell during the summer months. We keep returning them and saying sorry they don’t sell during this time.

What’s wrong with “dress pants and jeans, please wait until [date].” ? Or, “customers purchase dress pants and jeans in fall. Spring and summer are all about [casual pants, crops, denim shorts, whatever you want.]..”
