I was wandering through an artisan show last Saturday when, across the hall of crocheted infinity scarves and dip-tied tank tops, my eye was caught by a shelving display… and I realized that
the vendor had done just what I had suggested in a blog entry.
Now chances are, she didn’t do that just because she read my blog… and after all, lots of folks have the same idea. But my point? She did it, it made her booth stand out from the Sea of Sameness that afflicts merchandising currently… and heck, she caught my eye, so maybe adding lights will catch the eye of your potential consignment or resale customers. I bought 3-foot internally illuminated stars as a Christmas decoration. Three shiny gold and three white. Everybody loves them so much that we have kept them up.
