Testing. 1-2-3 Testing.

April 12, 2017 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Every once in a while, it does a business good to check its links.

Do the links on your web site go where you want them to go? That Facebook icon: does it take folks to your Facebook page or ask them to share your site on their Facebook? Either way’s fine… unless you meant it to be the OTHER way.

Older blog posts? Are the links you used still active (with over 1800 posts here on TGtbT.blog, I am constantly “grooming” links on old posts.)?

oops, you didn't do it right. Try again.

Hopefully, THIS isn’t what shows up when friends click on your “works at” info on your profile!

When folks click on your “works at” link on your personal profile on Facebook: does it go to your business page, or that generic “suitcase” Facebook page which is totally meaningless?

Do you know how to get the URL of a particular page on a site, a specific Facebook post, so you can link to it? Read up on it here on our blog.

Unclear on exactly why links matter to the visibility of your online presence? Here’s info. (Gee, hope those links work! πŸ™‚ )
