Don’t miss a trick.

October 8, 2017 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Here’s a social media trick that takes 5 minutes and will increase the awareness of your Facebook business page. And that your competitors probably have overlooked.

Add a fact-filled, motivating DESCRIPTION to your cover photo. Like this example:

Adding a descripttion to your FB cover photo is one more way to communicate!

Then add another to your profile pic. From our consumer-oriented HowToConsign.com‘s Facebook:

Tell them about your profile picture, says TGtbT.com

Notice that both these spots direct the viewer to our web sites with a live link. This Call To Action gets them involved, adds some traffic and SEO goodness to your business, and bumps up your brand awareness.

PS You can also do this on your personal profile page.

PPS As a bonus? When you do this, your activity shows up on your page’s timeline for all to see! (In fact, having a whole “wardrobe” of Facebook cover photos that you change with some frequency is an excellent way to announce the new seasons, provide shopping motivation, highlight some news…)
