Can I take a moment to point out all the wonderful things that Bella Grande has done simply by taking this photo and posting it online?
First, this is a quick way to make a focal point within your shop. Two dress forms, some risers for the accessories, and a 2-way of themed merchandise tempts the browser to stop and look… and buy!
Then the shop snapped the display and Facebooked it. (Double duty: make the shop function well and create a social media entry.) I’m sure they also filed the graphic away under something like Photos of Merchandise> navy.jpg so they can find it later when they need another post, want to blog about the classic appeal of navy-and-white, or go to create a video slide show story about the business.
And perhaps Angel even heard me on video where I mentioned that, if showing merchandise for sale on social media, show more than one item… there’s over a dozen potential purchases for the consumer-viewer in this one post!
Not to mention that the accessories in this mini swing shop are not red, as a fashion wuss might automatically grab without thought. The silver makes it a bit edgier, and has the great side benefit of making the photo recyclable even when it’s not the Fourth of July!
Another teeny tip from this photo is how Angel and her staff took care when populating that 2-way… notice that the prints are separated and given breathing space with every-other-item being a solid navy.
