Everyone's a winner at consignment shops!This tip is so simple, I smacked my forehead when I read it. Isn’t it amazing, how something so obvious can just escape us?

I’m sure we can all agree that everyone wants to feel like a winner.

And that if we can make our customers feel like they’ve won something, they’ll be happier, and they’ll tell their friends and just overall, skies will be bluer and birds chirpier.

A Final Checklist for Consignment, resale, thrift shopkeepers who aim to freshen up their shops

Now that you’ve read this week’s mini-series on Freshening up your consignment, resale or thrift store, let’s go through a checklist just to make sure we haven’t overlooked anything obvious.

Print out a few copies of Visiting Other Resalers and use the first one to “visit” your own shop.

Don’t forget what your sales counter looks like to your clients. Easy-peasy upgrade to your shop and your customers’ perception of the quality and value you offer.

And a little “freshening up” of your acceptance outlook might be just the ticket, if you suspect you’re just a bit “too nice.”
