Oldie AND Goodie!

Spent some time this sleepy afternoon using the link in an earlier blog entry to my own site, Too Good to be Threw, as it appeared on the web 10 years ago (and HEY! Recognized some buddies from back then who are still around and active in resale! Hi, Kerri and Kitty and Deb McD!)

“It’s all about me.” I thought that was a phrase mocking the self-absorbed world view of preadolescent, or arrested-development, people.

But apparently it’s infectious. More and more people think that the world must be arranged to their particular liking, and if the existence of YOU is not in their playbook of MY LIFE AS I WANT IT TO BE, why, you are no more deserving of respect than…well, than what? Litter? mosquitoes?

You can learn a lot just by looking. There’s ideas everywhere for your consignment, resale, or thrift shop. In fact, there’s so many good ideas out there, I carry a stack of index cards to write them down, and two cameras to capture them. Here’s my latest.
