this blog as a supplement to my web site, Too Good to be Threw. About 1500 posts later I still have stuff to say. See what I said on Day One, about the jacket I left behind. Believe it or not, there are still stores forcing their shoppers into the same profit-gutting situation today.

My work is never done. Fortunately, my secondhand shopping isn’t, either.

Look, is that me behind your rack there?

Every consignment, resale and thrift shop on the planet, it seems, needs more space. Space for merchandise, space for marketing, advertising space. Space to impress and lure shoppers inside.

And yet, so many shops don’t use the 45 to 120 or more square feet right in front of their noses. And more importantly, in front of their potential customers’ noses.
