(I love the “dungeon” remark. Once, I counseled a NFP thrift to move its dressing rooms to a center structure that had to remain smack in the middle of the shop, for exactly that reason. Who wants to try on back down that dim hallway, next to the janitor’s closet and barred delivery door?)
