Stuff that Stocking!

Your consignment, thrift, or resale shop has LOTS of merchandise that would make good stocking stuffers, doesn’t it?

Make sure that harried, frazzled, budget-tight shoppers know that!

Nothing’s easier to do than make a BIG  stocking-shaped “Stocking Stuffers!” sign that covers almost all your display window, then making smaller versions of the same to focus attention on your stocking-stuffer shop-within-a-shop.

Luring non-resale shoppers into your shop in this desperate last-week-before-Christmas not only brings immediate revenue, but helps them

overcome that “never-been-in-that-place” obstacle.

Welcome them, help them choose some small gifts… and capture their contact info by inviting them to enter a drawing between Christmas and New Year’s for a shop gift certificate. Or at the very least, give these new shoppers a coupon good for

after-holiday shopping at your winter clearance in January.

To make this even easier, I found a simple stocking shape for you to use at http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/christmas_stocking_template_large.htm
