Give your best consignors a punch…
a punch card that is!
Sonya Nix of Better Than Before Consignments mentioned in a private forum that once, she gave her best consignors the opportunity to consign a specific number of items at a higher than usual percentage.
Cool idea for the new year or just a new season… especially if it’s a punch card, mailed to them with a nice note about how since they are such a big part of MyShop’s success, you’d like to extend a token of appreciation in the form of “their choice, receive X% on their choice of Y items in the next Z months.”
Bonus points if the personal note and the punch card are hand-addressed and sent just at the very start of a new season, when you want to get the best stuff in NOW.
Design your card like you would your Frequent Buyer Card. After all, your consignors are as important (maybe even more so!) as your regular buyers.
