How a consignment, resale or thrift shop can go bankruptConsignment shops appeal to a lot of potential retailers simply because they do not require a large grubstake to purchase merchandise to sell to customers. Well, they think, that’s cool. If I don’t sell it at a profit, heck, I don’t have to pay for it. So, I don’t sell it, I’m not out a penny.

We’ve already talked about how easy it is to go bankrupt.

I mean, you HAVE to give something to everyone on your list, right? Love and kisses, like this little one is sending in this vintage postcard, is JUST NOT ENOUGH. (For some people. To you, I send Love and Kisses.)

Thus, the Zombies of the Mall. All the parking spaces were filled. Starbucks and the mall cafes overflowed with “exhausted” shoppers, there were some mighty strange folks out there…

but no one was buying.

I kid you not. They were (more…)

So your gifts will look pretty under the tree…until an hour later, when you haul all of those paper wrappings out to the trash. Merry Christmas, Trash Heap!

Tell the Earth Merry Christmas at the same time as celebrating your loved ones… by PRE-cycling. What’s precycling, and what does it have to do with giving gifts? Read about it on HowToConsign.com . Don’t create The Nightmare After Christmas. There’s better ways to present gifts than using dye-heavy paper, made of trees and chemicals and shipped around the world only to be regulated to the garbage within minutes.

Happy waste-less gift-giving to you, your grandchildren, and your great-grandchildren!
