How are you getting people in?
Some imagination-provoking ideas about getting people shopping in real stores instead of on the Internet in this New York Times article. (Not sure about the booty cam though.)
After all, if you Google “online consignment” just for the past year, you get 1.7 million hits.
Yes, 1.7 million.
Comment, below, about how YOU market the advantages of in-person resale shopping in your business. Or how you will be, this fall selling season. Ideas for attracting consignors, suppliers, and donors as well as shoppers would be great, if you have something to share.

This post appeared on my news feed on Facebook a few weeks back. Maybe it did on yours, as well.

Karen is sending out an S.O.S.!!! Our VP in charge of toys is on vacation and we need help putting together this army of Power Rangers! Bring in your boys to help us with the toys!
I loved the whole concept so much, I shared the photo and added this comment to my consignment and resale friends:
What a PERFECT way to get moms with kids in the shop, just as the summer starts… and to build community! Won’t the kids have FUN! Make a NOTE of this… I LOVE IT, which is suitable since it’s LOVE IT AGAIN!
Monique answered: The kids have a ball when they patiently try to “teach” us how to play. And that, of course, is just such fun for all of us here in the shop!
Love It Again is a Sponsor (Proud, I hope!) of HowToConsign.com, and you can visit her live link and Facebook link on our Directory of Professional Resalers.

Ever wished you could just invite those Facebook “friends” and “fans” for a quiet little cup of tea? Do you feel like your tweets and status updates get lost in the crowd?
