What a PERFECT way to get moms with kids in the shop, just as the summer starts… and to build community! Won’t the kids have FUN! Make a NOTE of this… I LOVE IT, which is suitable since it’s LOVE IT AGAIN!

Monique answered: The kids have a ball when they patiently try to “teach” us how to play. And that, of course, is just such fun for all of us here in the shop!

Those little rag-tag bits of space in your consignment, resale or thrift shop need to earn their keep… remember, you’re paying for every square foot, so use them all! For example, these photos from shops on the NARTS Conference Bus Tour last month:

Reading can get you and your resale business places!I’m often asked which books will be most helpful to resale entrepreneurs. So I gathered some into an Amazon list. It’s called Open a Consignment, Resale, or Thrift Shop but of course, these suggestions aren’t just for newbies. Experienced consignment shop owners, buy-outright resalers and even managers of nonprofit thrift stores can always expand their knowledge, gain new insight, even find better ways to do things.
