You can have a promo for a few hours or a day… or you can hold it and reap the benefits and goodwill for long after.

Ice bucket challenge goes BIG on AuntieKate.wordpress.comAnd Marianne Evans, owner of Your Best Friend’s Closet, a HowToConsign.com Sponsor Shop, used her pink-bathing-capped head for her latest shop happening.

Not only did the shop do promotion before the event: the trending Ice Bucket Challenge, but they went BIG, as in the Fire Department coming to fill a dunk tank in their parking lot…

But they also, since they were collecting funds for the ALS Challenge, set up a GoFundMe link for their Facebook followers who missed the chance to dunk Marianne, her staff, and business associates she challenged with a well-tossed ball.
